We are back! Thank you for your patience! Kel and I needed to rethink the podcast; basically we love to talk TO people, and after two years wanted to find a way to make the podcast more of a conversation with the community and less just the two of us (with the occasional guest). So, from this week we are doing a Facebook Live on Wednesday, sharing a topic with the group that gathers (29 people for the first one!), then getting the recorded version edited by our Ace Editor, Stephanie-Blair Watts, and presented here on the podcast. Please excuse the sub-par audio on this episode; we are working on the tech for our new format and should be improved by next week.
This week we talk what it takes to light your fire. Fire needs spark, fuel, and air; lacking any of these, it either won’t start, or it’ll just burn out. What lights the fire of your creativity, and what keeps it burning? Where do you find spark, fuel, and air? As always we wring the very last bit of insight from our metaphor! Karen talks about what sparked her new Disaffected Academic Rabbit Art (TM). And we get lots of good thoughts from our listeners as well.
